Exhibition of your work on Sat 26th August
- 5-day woodturning tuition worth €1,150 – free to you. Includes wood and lunches daily. Tools, safety wear and smocks provided for the class duration.
- This opportunity is suitable for people who have/have frequent access to a woodturning lathe and have a keen interest in growing their skill.
- The week will focus on improving your techniques, understanding the material, and give you the foundation to build your own style. See course content normally covered in Glenn’s 5-day class.
A great networking opportunity. - Accommodation – B&B is provided for arrival Sun 20th until departure Sun 27th at Osborne’s Storehouse in Rathanna. Daily transport to and from the workshop to accommodation is provided.
- Travel/Flights to Ireland and transport to County Carlow – at participant’s own expense (we are happy to advise).
- Exhibition of your work on Sat 26th August – you are encouraged to bring a small selection of finished work for a trunk show exhibition which Glenn will host and invite people interested in turning to attend on the final day.

Glenn and Cornelia will assess the applications in consultation with the Bursary Benefactor. They will make the offer of a place based on how the applicant feels this unique training will influence their emerging career with wood. Candidates will be informed of the decision by Monday 13th March 2023.
