The Association is made up from individuals, corporate members and woodturning clubs. We are a registered charity whose main aim is to promote and advance the skill of woodturning. You can find out more about the Association and its aims here. The AWGB is a national body representing woodturners from Great Britain and further afield.
We provide advice and support for woodturners of all ages with training courses, more immediate help is available on our forum or the social media channels. In 2020 we have started providing online Turning and Talking sessions further details are available here. For full details of the benefits of membership please look at the Members Benefits page. Every alternate year the Association hosts a woodturning seminar weekend with demonstrators from around the world. Our next seminar is from 24th to 26th September 2021. For more details of this seminar please visit our seminar website.
