I do like the two burrs, they are really attractive and a nice high finish on them all.

I've never turned pens, never had the inclination. Maybe I'd better have a go sometime!

Hi Woody, Nice pens I also like the burrs I think the photograph of the Blackwood seems a little blurred so it doesn't do it justace.

They may look like them but that is what David calls them at timber bits which is were I got them this is a problem some times different suppliers putting different names on kits

I really like these pens, especially the burrs.

I have yet to try "Victor"? pens, they appear to be more difficult than the Slimline ones, but beginners, like myself, best start with the easiest!

Regards Peter.

Personally I dont think any kit is harder than any other just more expensive that is the only valid reason slimline kits are recommended for beginners  because they are cheep but saying that the sierra type kits have only one piece of wood to turn and only one bit to press in so in that respect they are by far the easiest kit to make up the Victor kit are a very well engineered kit and very easy to make

Hi Woody.
Nice pens is it possible to get the kits in this country.

Regards George
I havnt seen them the closest to them is the Jn gents but even those are expensive over here compared to Oz at £6.25 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Woodturning-Pen-Kits-Gentleman-Chairman-ROLLERBALL-Chrome-/290809118254?pt=UK_Crafts_Other_Crafts_EH&hash=item43b592fe2e compared to timberbits $4 http://www.timberbits.com/jr-gentlemans-pen-kits.html which is £2.62 and his postage is cheaper as well
