Pencil kits

  I have been looking for  pencil mechs to make a few as gifts  not too fancy /expensive  0.7mm leads  Am i correct in my observation that there are not many pencil kits out there . Tons of fountain pens ,Roller balls and ballpoints I would appreciate any suggestions as to a UK supplier from anyone who is into this type of work
