I like the overall shape, and also the way it is well balanced both visually and (I imagine) weight-wise. May I ask, how long did it take to turn and finish?

Thank you for your comments. This took about 3hrs to turn and about 6 days for the finish oil adding.

I am always pleased to see pieces like this. The regular thing to do with a blank of this nature would be to cut it across and make two pieces from it. But that would be too safe  ;D Much better to leave the blank in one piece and give the turning impact. Nice one.

Bet that made a nice swishing sound as it went round. A lovely piece, I like everything about it.

I also like what you have done this one Denis, a lovely winged bowl made from a lovely bit of wood. Well turned and finished. Les
