This teapot l made from Pear is a copy of the Brown Betty, most probably the most famous teapot out there. This is one of those rare occasions where function rules over form, so to me is not the prettiest teapot out there, it was found the Brown Betty produced the best tea due to its shape.

Mike,

I've had so many cups of tea out of a NAFFI Brown Betty, to me it is the prettiness of teapots.

It's got none of the pyro work we see so often on your work, it's heavily painted and polished to that ceramic shine but as a reflection of a plain but functional teapot it stands out.

Love it
