I have a friend who is very much into rustic/stressed things - I was cutting some Beech for the woodburner and seen this on the end of one of the bits so thought I would try something with it - it is a very quick turned votif glass candle holder, she was delighted with it - again just for fun and interest. It is completely untreated and not designed to be passed onto her grandkids before you say anything!

If the customer likes it, who are we to say otherwise, it's already passed the most important test.
