I know of a Nova DVR with the external bowl turning attachment and on the Nova legs available near Milton Keynes for just over your budget at £600 but they may take an offer. Send me a PM if you are interested.

Thanks for your advice and thoughts. New potentiometer fitted today at astronomical cost £27. And a good amount of that was P and P! All seems to be working ok. First time I have used a soldering iron in years.

Hi all

I have just collected a load (2 estate car full) of holly Logs.

This was cut this week.

I was going to cut and split it for firewood, but was told that woodturners love it.

So I thought I would post it on here to see if anyone would be interested in buying it off me

there are 16 logs with the diameter ranging from 15-20cm length 1-1.3m and 6 logs diameter approx 30cm length approx 50cm.

Not really interested in selling individual logs .

Based in ME18 in kent.

If there is any interest please post.

Thanks

For Sale / Wanted / Selection of wood turning tools for sale
« Last post by RWStuff on May 16, 2024, 12:07:48 PM »
Clearing my father in law's workshop, following his recent passing, we have a number of tools available for sale:

Tormek Supergrind 1200
Jet 10-20 Plus Drum Sander
Record Power RPBS12 Band Saw
Evolution RAGE6 Multi-Purpose Mitre/Table Saw, 255 mm
Delta Midi Lathe

I also have a Sealey SM3002 Metal Working Lathe, if that is of interest to anyone?

I'm in the process of getting some better photos but here are a few from some of the above, attached.

In general, due to their size and weight, most would need to be collected from Eynsham area (between Oxford and Witney).

Open to offers in most cases, either individually or as a job lot.

Thanks for looking.

My Axminster AT1416VS has an Inverter which is protected by a steel enclosure that has large openings at the top, bottom and front! The top opening is mostly filled with the fins of a large heat sink so not easily sealed. Maybe the inverter itself has better than expected dust protection? Many of these lathes seem to have been sold over the years but I’m not aware of any issues with the inverter? Due to its compact size and good 14” bowl capacity they have been popular with demonstrators and have I’m sure been put through their paces.

Edit: This is the inverter of the current version of my lathe.
