Shooting club pens
« on: December 08, 2012, 05:21:45 PM »
I made two of these pens for a shooting club and one for a yachting enthusiast the gun pens aren't always popular among pen turners but at the end of the day there is a market for then and I enjoy making them so I hope you enjoy seeing them
The Cartridge pen is made from Honduras Walnut and Buskeye Burr and the last pen is made from pine from the interior of the HMS Victory

With the HMS Victory provenance it won't be sitting around long I'm quite sure.

The Burl (Burr) (whatever) of the other pens is fantastic.

Where do you get such timbers from?
Oh Lord, Lead me not into temptation…
