Has anyone tried casting pen blank with Water Clear Casting Resin (polyester resin)?

Bemm ringer is right there site is as http://www.penturners.org/

the issue is getting air bubbles out and there are three main ways of doing this. vibration, vacuum, or air pressure. I found pressure worked best for me. There is loads of info on the link above

since i first posted the post i have bought some resin from hear http://www.ecfibreglasssupplies.co.uk/p-1592-water-clear-casting-resin-inc-catalyst.aspx and i just vibrate the bench to get the air bubbles out
