Two bit bowl

I purchased this Mallee burr a few years ago with the intention of turning two bowls in it this is my first attempt at this design bowl it is 11" x 7" x 1 1/8" all comments welcome

It was Dave Apart from the bit when it got air born and hit me smack on the nose after about 30 seconds so that was when I made some grippers for my button jaws good job I have a big nose otherwise it may have broken my glasses instead of my nose LOL

Hi Woody,
              I agree with George, there's something not quite right to my eye about the bowls although they look to be turned very well. I think you did a good job of getting both feet flat on the ground, all to often they are different and the whole thing has a tilt.
 I like it.
 If you had continued with boxing lessons at school you might have dodged the airborne menace. ;)

I'll bet the vibration while turning the two bowl areas was a bit heavy.  Stunning finish though.

What an excellent piece! The two bowl arrangement really has made the most of the Mallee
