Read somewhere that you can get a screw on drive centre or a thread protector which assists in removing the drive centre. I have a coronet no1, 3/4 x 16tpi , mt1, anyone know of anything suitable, if so where are they sold. Bill.

Try this one -
https://www.yandles.co.uk/record-power-thread-protector-centre-eject/p8255
You could use that with a standard 1MT drive centre.

I had one on my first lathe, a coronet hobby, not the best lathe ever! As your thread is 3/4*16 Recrod should have something like it.
They are easier to use than a Knock out and are mainly found on lathes withou a hollow spindle
