OK not specifically tunring though I did turn the eyes for her out of a little bit of ebony I had. First piece of carving Mo has ever done.

A great little carving I have followed the progress on Instagram. Mo did a great job for a first and I am sure it will not be the last.
Looks like she will be too busy to decorate your bowls and other turnings now Pete

Thanks both. To be honest this was a trial she did aimed at eventually doing surface carving. Typically jumped in the deep end LOL. Got plenty to keep her busy LOL.

I've been following this on Facebook and it's good to see the finished article. What I especially like is the fact that the whole coat of fur is textured; it would have been so easy to leave it sanded clean and featureless.

p.s. ... excellent job on those eye-stalks!

Another Mo & Pete collaboration and again Pete gets to do the easy bit (turning the eyes).
But joking aside, for your first go at carving Mo, this is very, very good.
