Mulberry creation

 Not sure what to call this one to shallow to be a vase not quite right as a bowl but hey who cares I enjoyed making it 8" x 4" wide x 4 1/2" tall I made it yesterday from a mulberry branch crutch and finished oiling it today

What a nice natural edge peice, (bowl, Vase?)
Lovely wood, I have never turned Mulberry, How does it turn?

It is a wonderful wood to turn I have tuned it from pen size to a 24" natural edge platter

There's no Mulbury around here, I got hold of a branch once, it was okay for a few apples but nothing as spectacular as your bowl.

a Shallow BOWL+VASE= A Shallow BASE.(:-p and a good looking one at that.

I was once given quite a lot of Mulberry here is the largest bit a 22" platter that is in use in Battleford hall which is were the 300 year old tree is that it come from
