« on: February 07, 2018, 06:54:45 PM »

this bowl is 11"x2" in size. at first i was going to colour this but when i seen the grain in it i decided not to and finish it with grit and sheen. it has 4 coats of Hampshire sheen and is as smooth as silk.all comments welcome.

 Hi Wider,
I think this is a very nice Bowl it would have been sacrilege to colour this beautiful piece of Cherry also a great finish some might say it is to chunky but I like chunky. :)
                                                                     Regards John

Nice simple design allowing the wood to do the talking.

A cracking piece of timber a nice clear flow on the lines of the bowl's profile.

Although a bit chunky for this style it will help it keep its shape .... A very neat and simple bowl
