Wizardry in Wood #2
« on: October 16, 2016, 09:29:15 PM »
Just returned from attending WinW on the RPT stand. Many thanks to all of you who came and said hello and sorry that we could not talk for longer but it was quite hectic at times. I am sure you will all agree that it was certainly worth attending. The exhibits from some that meet up on this forum were staggering.
The AWGB stand with the seminar exhibits looked really good with the new video screens (I think I saw my ugly mug on one of them).
The turners from the youth training initiative did  a great job at the foot of the stairs and the Daniel collection was just incredible. The Kew exhibits too were quite different and very interesting. If nothing else I came away with an idea for another piece but I certainly came away with enthusiasm by the bucket load.
Well done to the Worshipful Company of Turners for hosting yet another successful world class (yes I spoke to some that came from overseas just to attend)exhibition.
