AWGB Training day
« on: August 12, 2016, 04:27:50 PM »
on Wednesday I had the opportunity to do a training day with Mark Hancock. we were doing from tree to bowl. I decided to do a end grain bowl ( open form) the timber that was on offer was acacia. I really had a good day so hear are a few photos.

Nicely proportioned piece Dennis. The Acacia grain works well and for some reason the offset of the pith on the base makes me smile....it just catches the eye.
Glad you had a great day with Mark
Cheers

   Wider,
I had a teaching day with Mark a few years ago It was wonderful Mark's teaching methods are so easy to understand and he always

has time to explain processes in great detail. Mark also does a great demonstration for Clubs.

                                               Regards John

John,

Thank you for your comments. It's always good to get feedback particularly when it's so positive. Reassures me I'm doing something right  :)
