I do love the shape and the colours of the hollow form. I'd say the choice of wood for the lid/finial is great, but I have to say I am rather disappointed by the shape of the finial. In my opinion, it lacks finesse. There's not enough flow from the tip of the finial into the shape/shoulder of the HF.
Hi Fuzzy, don't worry I am either going to rework the finial or re make it as I am not happy with it either, way to thick I think as well.
