Hi Dave

Is there any more news on your VB?

Ed
Hi Ed, Been checking out the lathe with limited ability due to hip replacement. Eventually have found out today that the Nord inverter fitted on my lathe is not putting out any voltage on the 10 or 15 volt circuits. Will need to replace the inverter, so the wife wont be getting a Xmas present. Dave

Just received a new inverter from Steinert, Greg Jensen and a electrical engineer friend of mine have sorted out the wiring schematic and parameter settings. Next Sunday my friend will install the new inverter.

May be worth posting the schematic for future reference of others.

Hi All, My VB36 is now up and running with a new TECo Inverter. Thanks to Greg Jensen for his enormous input sorting out the parameter changes and some wiring issues. It is not possible to put a schematic of the wiring on here, a lot of VB36 lathes were wired differently. I had to take photos of the controller and old inverter wiring and send them to my engineer friend and Greg Jensen. They came up with the wiring scheme and parameter settings for my particular set up.

Greg is the fellow on the right hand side of the photo - taken at first meeting of VB Owners Group in Pittsburgh.
