Bandsaw Blades
« on: September 01, 2015, 07:04:19 PM »
Members may recall that my old bandsaw died ; my 96 year old Mother  has now bought me a new one as a birthday present (for next month)

I  contacted the firm from which I  bought the spare blades for the old machine and asked if they would  consider part exchange on the blades that were still in manufacturer's wrapping.

Much to my please and surprise, they were willing to do a straight swap (even though the new blades are longer, he didn't ask for the difference)

The firm is  NLS Tools in Waltham Cross and they have a web site at: http://www.justbandsawblades.co.uk/

I  picked up the new blades this afternoon.

One hears a lot about bad service so I  thought readers might be interested in good service!

Always good to know .

I have learnt the first rule of woodturning.
The internal diameter should never exceed the external width.
Nor the internal depth, the external height.
Does that make me an expert now ?
