Are we getting excited yet ?
« on: July 16, 2015, 01:55:27 PM »
Three weeks to go. Cant wait.
Regards
Graham
I have learnt the first rule of woodturning.
The internal diameter should never exceed the external width.
Nor the internal depth, the external height.
Does that make me an expert now ?

Nervous more like. Having to demo with all those amazing turners potentially watchimng me is scary  :o At least it is just a one hour slot.

I took SWMBO out to lunch today and during that lunch I happened to mention that I am looking forward to the seminar. My better half will be coming with me but will spend her time in the surrounding towns and villages trying her best to make me a poor man. :P each to their own I say. So yes I am looking forward to the seminar and meeting up with old friends and putting faces to names that meet here.

My wife and son are also in the vicinity. They will be staying at a local hotel Thursday night through to Monday morning and I will  leave them to it from Friday to Sunday.

Looking forward to it very much, haven't finished any pieces yet as had a run of 28 pieces to finish for an outlet, so to say I am a bit like a duck at the moment is an understatement  :-\ always have worked better under pressure though so everything will be alright on the night  ::) ;D ;D ;D :) :) :)

Hi Graham

Just found my booking details we are staying at The Link Hotel which is a few minutes walk from the Universality.

It's not far from The Ceders so we will come and find you if you fancy a beer on the Thursday night.
