Hello everybody,

just joined the forum, so thanks for having me in. By way of introduction, here are some samples of pieces I made recently. I have only been turning for about a year and a bit, with some tuition from Mark Hancock and George Foweraker (who I notice is posting quite frequently here). Any feedback welcome. Please feel free to also have a browse around my website at fuzzyturns.org.uk.

Hi Fuzzy. Welcome to the forum. These are fine examples and well done. I like the coloured items particularly in your first picture. Some on this forum only like natural wood turnings, but I like the colour so keep them coming. Well done again. Malcolm.

Welcome to the Forum, Wolfgang,

Of the group I like the Fall of Moon Dust, the green of Forest Magic, then what's nicer than a plain piece of Sycamore .. Au naturel.

The image here doesn't do Justice to Sacrifice, could almost call it purple heart with the effect.

Tripoint box in the box is Monkey Puzzle .. well, will be nice to see it with a finish.

You've a few really nice looking pieces and a wealth of open ideas, one to watch for sure.

Cheers  David

Wolfgang,

And a big welcome to the forum from me as well.

Looks like you've already started well down the way of developing your own style, which looks to use interesting shapes.

Some interesting pieces there. As said, you seem to be quickly getting your own style. Couldn't open the website however?

thanks for the encouraging feedback. As far as shapes and style are concerned, yes, I do think I have my own sense of style. It's never been expressed until I found wood turning, so now it all pours out. I have plenty more ideas, and will post more pictures over time.

With regard to quality of work: I had some very good teachers. Especially George put the fear of god into me. ;D, and Mark has taught me well about freedom of expression.

I wasn't sure whether the forum would allow me to post a full URL, but here it is: http://www.fuzzyturns.org.uk

Hi Wolfgang

Nice to see the pieces finished. I think I've already commented on these. I'll get to you on the others.
Keep them coming
