Tea lights
« on: April 03, 2015, 03:59:58 PM »
Not wishing to start the debate all over again but today on another forum there was a post from someone who burnt a tea light down and when it got right down it burst into flames and scorched their table. They realised that they shouldn't burn them down that far but did anyway. Just be careful. Please.

When the answer to this problem is as easy as turning the hole big enough to take a glass or metal holder it really seems pointless to not do it.

Graham
I have learnt the first rule of woodturning.
The internal diameter should never exceed the external width.
Nor the internal depth, the external height.
Does that make me an expert now ?

That's the common sense approach, Graham....great shame that it's not adopted by all turners!

Education is important, but wood turning is importanter.
