AWGB Volunteers
« on: March 28, 2015, 12:24:19 PM »
The advertisement for the AGM in the current issue of Revolutions talks about the need for volunteers and the fact that none are coming forward.

Can I ask what it is that the volunteers will be expected to do ? It is rather awkward putting yourself forward to do unknown tasks.

Graham
I have learnt the first rule of woodturning.
The internal diameter should never exceed the external width.
Nor the internal depth, the external height.
Does that make me an expert now ?

We met and (sort of) inducted three new willing bodies today at a meeting of the Exec in Kettering.

I'll speak to the Exec and see if we can't be more specific with requirements now. I'll get back to this thread asap.

Hi Andy,
I will echo Graham's comments. It is preferable to know beforehand what one is volunteering to do. I look forward to reading any details.
