Happy Easter All!
« on: December 29, 2014, 02:34:58 PM »
and on that note, has anyone used Timberbits vouchers? I got 3 for 'easter', and have tried using them, but they come up invalid, and they rarely answer emails which is very annoying. I guess i'll ring them, but if anyone knows a trick!...

Have you considered writing to the CEO (use http://www.ceoemail.com/ to find the contact details), expressing your  dissatisfaction.

I  have written to a number of CEOs with generally excellent results (the exception being Tiscali/TalkTalk!)

My very best wishes for a Happy, Healthy, Peaceful, Successful, Prosperous and Stress-free New Year to all.

oh well, sorted now, I phoned them, they apologised, christmas rush and so on. the order came $123.15, and I had vouchers for $120, they waived the $3.15 for the trouble and the phonecall, heh.

I have learnt the first rule of woodturning.
The internal diameter should never exceed the external width.
Nor the internal depth, the external height.
Does that make me an expert now ?

I  used to work with somebody who always bought her Christmas cards in the January sales.

That was when the sales were in January - NOT starting on Boxing Day

...the way that things are going, in a few years the January sales will be ahead of Christmas by a few days, so you will be able to get cheap cards in time for Christmas.
Education is important, but wood turning is importanter.

I'll tell you who's mad, my next door neighbour 360 days left till Christmas and he's already got his lights up.

 Have a good new year.

Cheers Martin.
