Another "still life"
« on: November 18, 2014, 08:06:01 PM »
Here is another composition of lidded boxes in the shape of pears and acorns in a thin walled black cherry shallow bowl. Wall is about 1/8 " going to 1/4" to the base.
This objects seem to sell pretty well although at a low price in the range of $25-40 each so I keep making them.
Now I believe the composition is a little crowded.
C and C welcome.

These are so nice, has an Antique Old England look with the color wash to the pears and again those delightfully detailed acorns, all presented in a Black Cherry Bowl, beautiful.

Good prices there ... rates about $1.55 to the £ depending on exchange and charges.

Cheers  David

Thank you David. Do you think the composition is OK? As I said I feel there are too many things in it.
Best.

Might be one too many pears, the you've the correct odd number, would be too many if all in the bowl.

Then that's me.  Cheers  David
