Hi all,
I like it to use the Big Brother tool with 17mm diameter. Who knows where I can get cutters ?
Thanks for your help in advance.

Jo,

I've no idea about where in Germany but you can buy them through the Toolpost here in the UK. And they do mail order as well.

Jo,

the page explains this, it says,

'The 5/8" cutter and cover, as supplied with the original Big Brother is no longer available.  Users are recommended to install one of the current 1/2" cutters, with matching cover (as now supplied with both Big brother and Little Brother), instead.

This is the configuration recommended and preferred by experienced and expert users such as Jimmy Clewes.'

I feel like I am butting in on a private conversation but I just want to say I think the owls are cute.

Graham
I have learnt the first rule of woodturning.
The internal diameter should never exceed the external width.
Nor the internal depth, the external height.
Does that make me an expert now ?

Hi George...I had that problem....turns out that it will only be saved to your outbox if you specifically click on the button to save it, otherwise it disappears into the ether.

Les
Education is important, but wood turning is importanter.

Hi George etc.
the owls are not round. They are turned using five axes and
I think chucked 12 times. The eyes are from ebony and I use
many selfmade tools. High ca. 11cm.
