Coloured bowls
« on: February 12, 2014, 10:55:35 PM »
Here's a few more coloured bowls in beech, sycamore, maple and elm. The base is textured acrylic gesso and the colours are airbrush acrylics. A couple of them are pearlescent acrylics. The inside of the bowls are left natural wood.

Hi Paul
Lovely blending of the colours with the airbrush. A nice display that works well as a group. If you'd only posted a photo of one of them I wouldn't know what to say,but I really like these. Haven't tried gesso, will you be doing a demo in Yandles?
Regards,
Roderick

Paul,

I really like coloured work and I'd be hard pushed to say which one of these I like best based on the colour work alone, but the texture I can see on the blue (turquoise) one I think just takes it for me.

Like all of the forms the colour and blending makes them very striking. If I did have to choose it would be the top row
    and that's purely on colour.
we have seen you Demonstrate at a couple of shows and still find it outstanding.

Very nice selection of coloured bowls. Beautiful colour blending to give a very pleasing and effective finish. Malcolm.
