Hi all,
now by using "firefox" I'm back in the forum. Thanks Andy.

This shape of a box I like very much.
The body is plum, the lid is ebony.

I like the shape too. And the rim thickness, and the the gentle ogee on the lid.

Jo, nice to see your excellent work, beautiful, I love the detail, the weight of the piece an finer design to the lid, which sets off the colour flash and grain of the plum has come over well.   I have found that fruit woods can provide some wonderful patterns, must keep an eye open for some timber.
