Two in one

Hi it has been some time since I last posted been busy setting up again after my op and changing it all into another part of the shed I now have two rooms one as a gallery and dust free room the other for turning  but I think it is now finished also I have been turning like mad as we have opened a shop in Nottingham for the Christmas rush .
Any way the bowl it is in beech 8 1/4" x 5" x 1" enjoy

Vic, it so good to see you back in the swing of it and fully functional with the workshop, and shop too.

Whot NO Bar ..  :o .. that you've converted it back.

Like this one, you could call it a double life bowl ... then when seeing the underside ...  :o ...  ;D ..

It has not been the same without you and your work .. One last thing .. take it easy .. as if you'd do that.

Thank you for the warm welcome David I had a good day last week I set myself a target with 16 bowls just to see if I could still do it and yes I did but I wont be doing it again LOL I have also started doing some pyro work on some small plates and some vases

Vic, that is stunning detail, the branch I've no idea, but it's so good I can spot the bird as a Wren.

16 in the week ... how did you get that pass the good lady ..  ;D ..

Woody,

yep, definatley good to see you back posting again (I was a little worried we had not heard from you).

I know it's the 'not seen side' but the cross-over detail on the underside of the double bowl is it's best feature, very cleverly done and careful work to get such a perfect reflection.

Pyro as well now. As David says, it's a Wren, but I think the plant is Bindweed - at least that's what the flower looks like.

It was 16 in a day David mind they were only 6" x 2" LOL

Yes she filled me ear hole when she found out I got called all the silly ol bla bla bla's under the sun you can imagine LOL
