This vessel is 3 1/2" in diameter and 5 3/4" high. The knob is horn. It has been finished with wipe on poly. Comments and Critque welcome! Thanks.
Robert

Hi Robert, that's one beautiful piece of Alder and the finish has really set it off a treat.
Well done. David

I really don't know what to say!
The Alder grain is stunning and the shape really works with it, bringing the two together excellently.
You say the finial is bone, I've got to ask, what bone (animal) and how did you make it black please?

Hi Robert...love it! The grain looks as though Vincent van Gogh has painted it onto the vase. It's not a shape that I'm familiar with, but it certainly works!
