Axminster opens new store in Warrington

Axminster are opening a new store this week in Warrington.  Near me!

They have their launch day on Friday, 15th April when they are offering 10% off any single item.

I'm hoping to buy the Axminster 1416VS lathe so it'll save me over £50.

May see some of you there.

damnit, i knew they were opening in Warrington, but did not know about the 10%, could of saved myself £40, although with petrol down and back, a lot less

I've been trying to get in touch with the Warrington store and the telephone doesn't work and the email doesn't work.  I rang the main number and they are aware of the problems.

The lathe I was going to buy is currently out of stock and there seems to be some doubt that I can order it on the day and get the discount if it's out of stock.

I'm also reluctant to buy without seeing it first.

Great morning out, great store, great service and I got the lathe and the discount and it's a great lathe.  I'll write more when I have a bit of spare time - the day job is getting the way of fun things.
