Two interlocking rings for an exhibit with the theme of love albeit mostly painting.  270 mm x 160 mm  One ring is jarrah and the other kauri (?) Comments welcome.

Hee hee...that's novel, and unless I'm mistaken, the Jarrah and the Kauri don't grow in an intertwined way in the natural world, so there must be a cut-and-join in there somewhere!
By the way....I'm not seeing the word 'Cariad' in there anywhere!

On a more serious note....I likes the pyro work; some body's got patience!

Thanks, Les.  I'll add 'cariad'.  Your are of course right, there is joint in the pyrographed ring.

Pete, thanks  and  vielen Dank!

These entwined ring are great, but what is really the best bit, 'Love' in all those different languages.

You've made something special in this piece.
Oh Lord, Lead me not into temptation…

...Oh who am I kidding, follow me, I know a shortcut!

Kauri, a tree from New Zealand. Can grow to a very great size and age sometimes known as Ancient kauri .

Very popular for making Table Tennis bats for those that don't care what they pay! (I work with an international standard TT umpire and have had to repair his bat in the past!)
