these days in Italy was the first national competition of artistic wood turning, the theme of the competition was "a Italian Forest " I presented this piece in jujube wood, cork and maple ;  I called this "Life", just because "the forest exudes life" and this is what I see when I look at a forest   :-[

Comments & criticism very welcome  :)

This is so much the sort of thing I like doing myself. Is the edge of the vessel natural or pyro'd?

Very nice. I see why you call it 'Life'. Malcolm.

'In Space - No One can hear you scream'

This is so alive, so organic, it's frightingly beautiful.
