Lidded Hollow Form

Made from Macrocarpa stained sealed and waxed. The lid is from a scrap of Yew ebonised, the knob is a turned Beetlenut.
Measures 4.5" high x 3.5" at widest.

This I like Martin, what a fascinating 3D effect has resulted due to the rings the colour and the excellent finish you have achieved. The more I look at it the more I want to, it seems to keep sucking me in I think it has an hypnotic effect.

Hi Martin, This got pass me first off, so in seeing it now.. like the form, beautiful details, one of the wonders we can find in wood by chance, like the beetlenut knob.
