retro fitting a copy lathe attachment
« on: March 15, 2013, 09:10:48 PM »
Hello everyone.

Ok, I know this is a long shot, and possibly a bit daft, But I'll ask anyhow:
I have an axminster M950, and noticed the other day that it look pretty similar to a lot of lathes, you know, made in the same far eastern factory etc etc, including the Scheppach DML1100 (if memory serves).

So, is it fair to assume that the Scheppach copy attachment will fit (or can be made to fit) my lathe, and all the others.

Its not something I need to do, just curious really, but I can foresee a time in the not too distant future when a copy lathe might be useful. Come to think of it, is the copy attachment any good?

What do you think?

Dan.
