Segmented Woodturning
« on: December 26, 2012, 11:41:19 AM »
I started woodturning just over two years ago when I retired and became hooked !!!
I started with pens and developed onto bigger things before getting into segmented turning which I love !!
I put my turnings on my website www.marmic-manor-crafts.co.uk
These are just a couple of my recent segmented turnings

Mick,

And a big welcome from me as well (Bryan).

For a turner of 2 years, that's one big vase, very well done indeed.

They appear to be displayed in a show or some-such. Club level or another level of show - and... how did you do?
Oh Lord, Lead me not into temptation…

...Oh who am I kidding, follow me, I know a shortcut!

Thanks for the comments
The large plate was in the Chelmer Valley branch of AWGB annual competition  (Results at Jan clubnight )
We have a critique table each month and I try to take something to get other views on my turning
The large Vase has been on display at Craft Fairs I attend and was also on Display with another plate of mine
on the AWGB stand at the European Woodworking Show at Cressing
