Do you hurl balls or cheeses at these things?

Can't see them having a long life in use so plenty of repeat custom.

most use balls (those included) but i'll state whether any other form is used when i post the pictures.

lots of sets last about two years and i'm starting to get repeat customers now.

Good to see something different. Thanks Steve. How round do the balls need to be? I suspect they are not crucial having seen them being used LOL.

Pete

my balls are perfectly round ;D

i figured that if you are spending £150 on a new set you want to feel like you are getting what you pay for so they are as perfectly spherical as i can get them.

This is good Steve, thankyou for posting. Question, how big a cut can you take with this jig?

if freshly sharpened i can take up to 1/4" but i risk spinning it on the small 1/2" stebcentre i use to drive it.

i usually take 1/8" cut.

thats a clever jig. Might have a go at making one of those.

I have learnt the first rule of woodturning.
The internal diameter should never exceed the external width.
Nor the internal depth, the external height.
Does that make me an expert now ?
