Goblet with difference, would hold wine if not for usual holes ...   >:( ..   4.25" tall x 3.58" dia (11 cm x 9.5 cm) Fiction polish.

Nice one Dave I made one of those a few years ago and said never again apparently the Victorians used them as well

Dave, that looks great, really different.

I've seen coconut shell used in jewellry and noticed it takes a good shine, never thought about it like this.

I may have to try it myself (any excuse to have to eat the contents!)

Woody & Bryan, thank you.

The shell was far from easy to work with, it only came about due to an almost very clean straight break round the shell, the need to square/true the face and setup so as too skim the whole surface took some adjustments, jam chuck and light tailstock support not to split it open should any cracks be within the rim.

In holding liqiud, which it did and should do well again, comes the removal of such in the first place an the usual holes ...   >:( ...  if it was not for that and to keep the contents, sawing in half would be the best idea and rended it to be used for drinking without having to think about plugging holes.

Should hope to find the image of it's other half.

I'll have to find the image of the other half ...  goblet ..  ;) ...  find is the WORD !!! take the pictures, down load, then WHERE the H*** do you find them ..   :'( ..
