Yew box

The box is 2" x 3" yew natural edge the bark was loose so I removed it all and burned the edge with a pyro iron finial African Blackwood  all comments welcome

Great finish and a good shape. Personally I think the finial could have done with a bead or other feature just before the top, but that is my preference (others will disagree).

Not an easy thing turning something so small. So a good piece, well done.

Yew made a great job there, as with the Apricot box, the tall finial works well on this one, nice to see, there are only a few who can make the long fine detailed finials, which is their trade mark of a piece, eg: Cindy Drozda being one that comes to mind.
