I like #2, Martin. #1 doesn't grab me I'm afraid. You must have spent hours pyrographing #1! Glad you're back in the workshop and haven't forgot how to turn!

Hi Andy,

Thanks I'm not that keen on No 1 either, No 2 is not pyrography its stone effect spray straight onto the wood after arbortech.

Cheers Martin.

Hi Martin, So you cracked the uploading of pictures.(Let me know please) I like both of these, well thought out. They could fetch a lot of money on "Flog it".Regards John

Martin, Two very nice pieces, I would go more for # 2 as well, but like them both, judging by the small pictures, wonder what the founders of Troika, Leslie Illsley, Benny Sirota, and Jan Thompson would think of them.
Glad to see your up and turning.    David

Hi Martin

#2 for me as well.  But I like the base of #1 very much - it's the stopper.  I think it would look better with something more like #2?

Cheers Dave

Hi Martin,
like everyone else I prefer #2. I would prefer #1 if the top was different. But they are both very nice. Wish I had these ideas!
