Woodturning ☯️ of a yin yang stool
« on: October 23, 2024, 06:04:08 PM »
“This time I have created a stool using two types of wood, white beech and cherry. The biggest challenge was segmenting both woods into the shape of the mythical ☯️ YIN YANG symbol. However, with patience and precision, I managed to achieve a very good finish. In this video, I show the entire process of this piece from start to finish.

Sounds like an interesting puzzle. In addition to your youtube link, could you upload a photo of the end result?

I watched the first few minutes, as far as the surface planing, then gave up. Frankly, I abhor any video deliberately offered for general viewing, which shows such a disregard for safety. Your total lack of guards and push-sticks etc is shocking.
Les
Education is important, but wood turning is importanter.
