Horn Beam

Hello I have a large quantity of horn Beam and I was wondering if I could rough turn it now and leave to dry or should I just seal the ends and wait ?

others more experienced than me may give the best option but if no answers and was me I would turn a couple of bits and seal the others.
The turned ones can be observed over a few weeks and if not warping or cracking then I would ne tempted to turn more to speed the drying process,  Good luck should be some nice timber.

When  I have a large quantity of timber I turn to finish some of the less interesting pieces, rough turn some others, and cut into 2 or 3 inch planks the rest (planks is my preferred method these days, can decide if it is  a bowl or spindle later)
TT, AKA Pete, but that name is taken :-)

many thanks for the comments, I have sealed the ends of most and I turned one bit to a round and I am going to hollow to a rough vase. and I am going to see what happens.
