I wonder how many threads
« on: January 06, 2024, 04:25:26 PM »
We’ll get on this forum in 2024? Maybe we should open a book on it. I’ll start and say, no more than 50, EXCLUDING sales threads.  ;D

https://www.awgb.co.uk

Let me know if you find it.

I think the problem is not finding the link from the website, it's knowing it's there in the first place. If you didn't know the forum existed, you wouldn't go looking for the link would you.
Perhaps forums like this have had their day. Most people seem to prefer social media these days although in terms of a repository of searchable information, forums like this are far more useful than social media.

I disagree Paul, I do not use any of the so called "Social media" platforms. I much prefer this type of forum.

As Paul has said if you don't know it's there ? , If the AWGB want more forum activity put the link on the front page .

I agree, there should be a prominent “Forum” link on that page. It shouldn’t be hidden in a drop down menu as it’s easy to miss them sometimes. ;)

I am going for over 55, I still believe in Forums over social media, though I manage the Robert Sorby one and if it wasn't for spam I have to delete there wouldn't be one a month  :(
