Burr or ash canker

I posted these on another site as a burr but it seems that it is Ash canker! Finished with sanding sealer and Woodwax 22. Apologies for the light reflection!

Les Symonds:
A very pretty little bowl. Definitely ash canker, quite possibly the result of ash die-back disease.
