There are some designs freely available online that can be printed using a 3D printer if you know someone with one.

The insert for my bandsaw is not that cheap, and also not very well made. I therefore made my own insert from some polycarbonate sheet, but luckily I had exactly the right thickness material to hand.

I bought a 10" or so long "bar" of acrylic just a few mm to big in diameter. put a chuck mount on one end, drilled some holes in the other then I just turn it to correct diameter and part it off. Before that I used 5mm plywood, cut it out on the bandsaw then sanded it down about 1mm to make it fit the slot correctly.
TT, AKA Pete, but that name is taken :-)

The depth of the pocket for the insert on my bandsaw is exactly 5mm deep. Turning a 70mm diameter disc on the lathe from some polycarbonate sheet only took a couple of minutes. It them just needed a few holes and a slot in it. Polycarbonate is not expensive.

The one that came with my bandsaw was injection molded and slightly too thin. As a result timber would hang up on it sometimes. The replacement I made is a perfect fit and been on there for at least 12 years.

I use Corian offcuts for mine, and have made several for other people. Easy material to work and free - just takes a few minutes to do.
