I would like to say thank you to Paul Hannaby who is after his 4 year term at the helm of the AWGB standing down.

Well done Paul for everything you have achieved not only as chairman but also in the other positions you have held.

Best wishes , And I hope you have plenty of time in your workshop.

Allen  :)

Most definitely a thank you; always ready to help others and offer advice in addition to all the more mundane but time-consuming tasks that he has carried out.
Hope you manage to fill your new-found spare time productively!

Thank you all for your kind words. I think 10 years is more than enough for anyone and yes, I am looking forward to having more time to catch up on some DIY projects, spend more time in the workshop and do more fishing! ;)
Over those 10 years I have been fortunate to meet many people from both this country and overseas, all with a passion for woodturning. I will still be around to help out from time to time but I won't be involved as a trustee any more and I won't be attending all those meetings any more either!

As of today my "retirement" is official  ;D
