you need to sand the endgrain to 400g for me to be completely sure but i'm 99% certain that you have some Sweet Chestnut, Castanea sativa.

I've a few log sections that I found tucked away in my store that I'd forgotten about.  I'd written a date of Apr 2019 on one of the sections but can't remember where I got them and didn't know what the wood was either.
