Hi all,

Allthough I registered on this forum more than a year ago this is my first post. Let me shortly introduce my self. Ronald Kanne, woodturner in the Netherlands. Making all kind of stuff. But until the end of this year i'll be aking a huge batch of funeral urns. So not much "turning for fun" for a while...
Also I do courses in my workshop and I have a webshop for woodturners...

But most of all I would like to let you know that I have a YouTube channel where I post video's about little projects to turn. I make these video's together with Lies. She is an educated camgirl.
This is the link to my channel:

And this is my last video, a three legged stool.

Let me know what you think of it, but I know already that my English is not the best of the world... :-)

Welcome to the forum Ronald. Your English is fine.  ;) I’ve just watched the stool video and much enjoyed it. The presentation, turning and video production were all very good as far as I am concerned.

welcome to the forum mate.

curious to know what woods and sizes you use for your urns?

i've got loads of big size timber (native and exotic) that i've collected over the years that might be useful for such projects.

For the large amounts of commissioned urns I use Ash and Elm. The Ash I finish so that it looks unfinished. The elm I finish natural, oil, and glossy (lacquer).
I make them in 3 sizes 400 ml 1,5 liter and 3,5 liter. The smallest one is made out of 1 piece, the 2 bigger ones are made out of glued blanks...

Hi Ronald

I love your YouTube channel glad to see you on here. Always good to see a turner with some humour showing their skills drawing people in.
