Hi all,
I would be interested to hear how much your club fees are, not including those paid to the AWGB.

Normally £35 for ours too. Although where we meet is currently a vaccination center so we won't be back until at least the end of September. :'(

£10 p.a. plus £4 for meeting entry.

Our costs have risen this year so changes may be necessary - not exactly wallet-busting though!

Thanks for your replies, I only ask because the hall where we meet has made some changes that might affect our club membership fee which is currently £18 per year.

Hi John,  Our Club (Crow Valley Woodturners) are £16 plus £2 per visit to pay for the coffee. It just about covers the room hire.

Tea and Coffee and a couple of biscuits at half time is 30p at my club.

Our fees include one, or sometimes two demo’s from a professional demonstrator.
These normally take place at the weekend and are open to non members for a small fee.

Our club fees £10.oo per annum. plus AWGB .  When we have demonstrator full day £8.00 plus £4.00 for lunch (in normal times 4 times a year) this is only payable if you attend . To keep members intrested over lockdown free membership this 2021 and zoom meetings once a month (no charge)  plus we have had 3 pro demonstrators over lockdown via Zoom and have been supported by other woodturners who have given their time freely to support the meetings and make them more intresting .
No pockets in shrouds spend it now
